My name is Raymonde Page. I grew up in Madagascar, a large Island
along the East side of Africa. Madagascar is one of the poorest
countries in the world.
In 2002, I became the first person from Madagascar to live in Montana
and later gained my United States Citizenship. I am fortunate enough
to be here and so excited to be able to do something to help those in
need.
Water must be carried long distances in jugs on the villagers heads.
The Betsileo Development immerged as a method to modernize the
conveyance of the water. Board members and friends make up our team of
volunteers who have built an energy saving new age water system.
To reach our goal, among other projects, we are making handmade items
and all proceeds from the sale of these items will help build the pump
system and bring clean water to villagers.
As we look forward doing another project, it is an honor for me to be
able to help and I sincerely ask that you do the same. If you would
like to make a tax deductible donation you can either make a check to
Betsileo Development or click the "Donate" button. Any donation from
your heart will make a difference in the lives of the villagers.
My heart goes to everyone involved.
